Summary

• The Anime Clash event was a temporary Medal Event for the Anime season. This event began on August 9, 2024, and ended on August 30.
• In this event, players could accrue Magical Crystals and Magic Medals as temporary resources. Magical Crystals are used to progress a rewards track similar to Season Challenges, while Magic Medals can be used at the Trader to purchase exclusive rewards.
• The Anime Clash medal event is available for all players with Town Hall 6 or above.
• There are two separate end dates for the event:
  • The first end date is for the main event, occurred on August 28, 2024. At this point, the following occur:
    • Magical Crystals will no longer be available to collect;
    • Temporary troops can no longer be trained.
  • The second end date occurred on August 30, 2024. Between the first end date and this point, the following still apply:
    • The Trader's Magic Medal offers remain available.
    • The rewards track remains open and accumulated rewards can still be claimed. Although it is no longer possible to collect Magical Crystals to advance the track normally, Gems can still be used to complete reward tiers. Any claimed boosts remain in effect.

Magical Crystals

Magical Crystal

• At the start of the event, the player will see an argument between a Broom Witch and Wizard. The Broom Witch formally introduces the event.
• Outside the village, a Wizard Vendor is placed, which produces Magical Crystals at a slow rate. It appears in the clearing where the Clan Games cart usually spawns.
• Magical Crystals can be won in Multiplayer Battles. In every battle, Magical Crystals are placed inside up to three randomly selected Wizard Towers. The number of Magical Crystals is distributed evenly between them.
  • If a base has only one or two Wizard Towers, Magical Crystals will be placed in all of them, and the number available from each Wizard Tower will be increased such that every base will have the same number of Magical Crystals available. However, if a base has no Wizard Towers, Magical Crystals will be unavailable to loot.
• Magical Crystals cannot be lost once accumulated; any Magical Crystals that opponents manage to loot off the player would be newly generated by the game.
• Loot penalty from attacking players with a lower Town Hall level does not apply to Magical Crystals.

Magical Crystal Rewards

• Magical Crystals could be accumulated to progress a special rewards track exclusive to the event. These rewards comprise mostly of Ores and Magic Medals, with a few reward tiers unlocking temporary army units, providing training boosts or unlocking exclusive decorations.
• For this event, an Event Pass was purchasable for $4.99 USD (or equivalent). The Event Pass provides access to a paid tier of additional rewards.
• Completing the main rewards track unlocked access to a bonus track, which grants additional Magic Medals upon completion, though only to a limited extent.
• Players could spend 90 Gems to immediately unlock the next rewards tier, whether or not they have the Event Pass. Gems cannot be used on the bonus track.

By completing the main rewards track above, players gain access to the bonus track where they can earn more Magic Medals. The following (cumulative) amounts of Magical Crystals are required to earn more Magic Medals:

Magic Medals

Magic Medal

• Magic Medals can be earned by completing the rewards track, which is done by accumulating Magical Crystals.
  • 3,100 Magic Medals can be won from the free tier of the rewards track, and another 5,500 is winnable from the paid tier. An additional 650 is available in the bonus track, for a total of 3,750 available for free, or 9,250 with the Event Pass.
• Additional Magic Medals could be purchased via In-App Purchases in the Shop; some offers contained only Magic Medals while others are bundled with other content.
• Magic Medals could be used to purchase special offers from the Trader:
