First, you want to find a good base and lure the clan castle troops with 1 of your hogs. Most town hall 8s have a dragon and a max balloon in them so it won't be that hard to kill them. You need to use the barbarian-wizard clan castle troop killing squad and if you don't know what that is, it is you drop 3-4 wizards to take out the dragon, and you distract the clan castle troops with your barbs, dropping them one by one until the wizards kill the dragon.
Once the CC troops are gone, you have a choice to place your golem near the enemy king to distract, or near a lot of defenses to distract.
