Summary

• The Bag of Frostmites is a temporary spell that is available in the Cookie Rumble event. It is unlocked upon accumulating 5,500 Sweet Elixir.
• When cast, the Bag of Frostmites freezes the area of impact, similar to a Freeze Spell. Frostmites then spawn over time within the radius of the spell, which provides distractions and slows down defenses they hit.

Strategies

Offensive Strategies

• The Bag of Frostmites can be used to suppress strong defenses, making them somewhat less threatening. It should be kept in mind that the Bag of Frostmites is not a replacement of the Freeze Spell in the Home Village and will not stop such defenses completely, but can prove to be a viable distraction against high-damage defenses by spawning Frostmites.
  • Thus, it is also useful against single-target Inferno Towers and Monoliths, which means they will be distracted by the Frostmites.
• Consider how you use this spell as a Skeleton Spell or a Bat Spell: use this to freeze, distract, deal slight damage and slowing them down using this versatile spell. However, the Freeze effect does not last as long as a Freeze Spell, and certainly spawns less distractions than the Skeleton Spell and the Bat Spell.

Defensive Strategies

• Do not clump Inferno Towers and other slow-attacking defenses together: This will give a lot of frost-spell value, and the Frostmites will be able to distract them.
  • However, any nearby splash or multi-targeting defenses will destroy the Frostmites, provided that if they do enough damage to prevent them from slowing down defenses.

History

• The Bag of Frostmites was introduced in the Cookie Rumble event, which started on December 18, 2023.
• On December 21, 2023, the Bag of Frostmites received the following changes:
  • Reduced Frostmite count at levels 10 and 11 to 16 (down from 17 and 18 respectively).
  • Reduced the duration between spawning of successive Frostmites, making them spawn more quickly.
  • Reduced the Frostmite's frost duration by 1 second and slowdown to 30% (from 50%).
