Cannon are the most basic defense in your base since it is the first gun you built. Physically cannon good against enemy with high amount of health especially giant, it because it do high amount of damage and fast shooting speed it also don't have any minimum range, cannon are closely related to mortar both of them are weak against air unit because the cannot attack air.
