  • Summary
    • Double cannons are like a cannon and shoot cannonballs. However, they rapidly shoot four at a time and has to recharge after that. This is called burst shot.
    • Double cannons are only available in the Builder Base. They are unlocked at Builder Hall 2.
    • Double cannons can four-shot sneaky archers and raged barbarians of relative level.
    • The Master Builder can Gear Up cannons in the Home Village to do burst shots, like a double cannon.

  • Upgrade Differences
    • At level 1, the double cannon appears to sit atop a wooden board with leaves and a rope holding them together
    • At level 2, the rope holding them together is now strapped between them.
    • At level 3, the ropes are now positioned like they were at level one and there are less leaves.
    • At level 4, the cannons become bigger. The base is now metal with bolts on each corner and the cannons are held together by a copper wire. There are no longer leaves.
    • At level 5, the cannons get another copper wire. The base is reinforced by copper plates.

  • Trivia
    • Altough the Double Cannon shoots burst fire of 4 shots, the Double Cannon can't separate the shots on different troops. For example, if it targets a Sneaky Archer with a low health, the 1st shot will kill it and the remaining 3 will be wasted.
    • This makes a regular village's geared up Double Cannon have a hidden firepower downgrade in addition to the reduced range, as a regular Cannon, xBow, Air Defense, Archer Tower, and Clan Castle Reinforcements attack grouped units when one shotting with an imcreased time to shoot and retarget, but more more worse because of an even slower attack speed!
    • This is a targeting AI glitch where other defenses such as Xbow, Cannon, Air Defense, Clan Castle Reinforcements and Archer Tower can't perfectly unload, and time attacks and tell when a troop is dead and how much shots it exactly takes to kill to precisely and perfectly move onto the next one with no delay of time, and no waste of shots, and both, precisely on small units that can be one shotted, and any low health unit. Clash Royale lacks this potential bug of defenses, and troops.

Icon FinishNowTapping this icon, which is displayed only while an upgrade is in progress, instantly finishes that upgrade at the cost of the displayed number of Gems.
