Summary
- The Electro Boots is the second Epic piece of Hero Equipment for the Royal Champion. It made its debut in the Toyshop Throwdown event starting December 11, 2024. Since August 13, 2025, it may appear in the Trader, where it is obtainable for 1,500 Gems.
- The Electro Boots is similar to that of the Royal Champion's default skin's boots, except with two leather belt straps and a metal plate bolted in the front each, with electricity connecting from the bolts to the back, with iron soles with grooves on the bottom. When equipped, the Royal Champion gains a blue electric aura which emits lightning bolts in a clockwise motion around her which deals constant damage. This ability persists until she is knocked out from battle or is paused by recalling her.
- In addition to the ability, the Electro Boots grants additional hitpoints to the Royal Champion, and gives her self healing every second.
- Every three levels, it increases the aura damage, and at level 27, it increases the self-regeneration by 4 instead of the normal 2.
Strategies
Offensive Strategies
- When the Electro Boots are equipped with the Royal Champion, she summons an aura around herself, granting her the ability to damage buildings and units, whether ground or air. The aura's range is longer than Royal Champion's normal attack, in practice she will do extra damage per second of the aura to her target, on top of other non defensive buildings she skipped past, massively increasing her damage output.
- The Electro Boots allows the Royal Champion to counter swarms of defending Clan Castle troops, especially Archers, Witches and Lava Hounds (and their summoned units). It can also be used to destroy the Skeletons from Skeleton Traps.
- There are different interactions if the Royal Champion uses different pieces of Equipment:
- When paired with the Hog Rider Puppet, it can be useful as she becomes invisible for a short duration and the Hog Riders will be safe against Skeletons from Skeleton Traps with her aura. Be careful of Traps such as Giant Bombs, though.
- When paired with the Haste Vial or Seeking Shield, it can be helpful as it can help to destroy defenses faster, combined with the aura damage. In a Royal Champion Charge, it is best to use the ability before recalling her.
- When paired with the Rocket Spear, it allows the Royal Champion to snipe defenses from afar while keeping the defending Skeletons at bay. Additionally, if she is close to nearby buildings on her long-range state, she will eventually destroy them, which can be beneficial for cleanup later on. In a Royal Champion Charge, it is best to use the ability after recalling her.
- If the Royal Champion took any damage, she will regenerate over time, eventually returning her to full health. At maximum level, paired with the max-level Royal Gem, she will regenerate from 1 hitpoint to full health in roughly 90 seconds, provided if she activated her ability. This is useful if you want to keep the Royal Champion alive so that she will be used in an increased number of attacks.
- The Spirit Fox pairs well with the Royal Champion equipped with the Electro Boots as she will be able to stay invisible for a short time while she recovers health, thus increasing her survivability.
- To make this even better, Invisibility Spells can also be used to turn the Royal Champion invisible again after the invisibility of the Spirit Fox ends.
- The Royal Champion can be a formidable attacker with the Electro Boots, whose most threatening aspect on attacking is her aura, which cannot be shut down by any means; Poison Spells from Spell Towers, cards from Headhunters, and the Poison Bomb from the Town Hall 14-16s' Giga Inferno death bombs and the freeze effect, whether from Ice Golems or the Town Hall's Frost Bomb will do nothing to stop her aura.
Defensive Strategies
- To counter the Royal Champion, place high-damage defenses like Monoliths and single-target Inferno Towers, and tanky defending units or Heroes such as the Archer Queen in a way that the Royal Champion becomes overwhelmed with damage, especially if the attacker is inexperienced, forcing her ability to be used or knocking her out from battle.
- You can also use high-hitpoint and damage troops in your Clan Castle such as Super Dragons and P.E.K.K.As to heavily damage her.
- You can also use Super Minions to damage her from afar, as she is mostly attacking defenses or other units.

Trivia
Comparisons
- The Electro Boots' aura is similar to Electro Titan's, except it has a bigger radius, higher damage at certain levels, the glow from the middle extends much farther and the border is more visible.
- Also, unlike the Electro Titan, the Royal Champion equipped with the Electro Boots can jump over walls.
- So far, the Electro Boots is currently the only passive Equipment for the Royal Champion.
- The Electro Boots, the Frozen Arrow, and the Snake Bracelet are currently the only Epic pieces of Hero Equipment which have a passive ability.
