Level 1

Summary
- Lava Pups are spawned when a Lava Hound falls in battle. Although they vaguely resemble their parent troop in appearance, they are significantly stronger offensively and have only a tiny fraction of the Lava Hound's health.
- When a Lava Hound dies, it splits into 8 Lava Pups at Level 1, 10 Lava Pups at Level 2, and 12 Lava Pups at Level 3.
- They look like lava-coloured Minions, or mini Lava Hounds .
- Because they fly, Cannons and Mortars cannot attack them.

Offensive Strategy
- You cannot train or place down Lava Pups, as they only appear when a Lava Hound dies, similarly to a Golem's Golemites and a Witch's Skeletons.

Upgrade Differences
- There are currently no upgrade differences.

Trivia
- Added in the 16th September 2014 update.
- It has exactly the same stats as a level 1 Minion, except for its range. Minions have a 2.75 tile range, while the Lava Pup's is only 2.
