• Summary
  • The Roaster is a defensive building in Builder Base unlocked at Builder Hall level six.
  • It shoots short plasma bursts at its enemies that deals splash damage. Its damage per hit is very low but the high fire rate makes up for it.
  • It can burn both air and ground troops.

• Defensive Strategy
  • Use the Roaster as an outer defense as it does not do as much damage against tanks but can do a lot of damage to swarms.
  • A full burst of 15 hits will be enough to kill Raged Barbarians of relative level.
• Offensive Strategy
  • Try to put units with a lot of hitpoints in front of support units with less hitpoints to distract it from shooting the support units.
  • Try to separate the troops so it does not hit every troop.

• Upgrade Differences
  • At level 1, the Roaster looks like a metal vessel secured by wood planks that are tied up by ropes.
  • At level 2, the ropes are replaced by a plank rim.
  • At level 3, the wooden frame is replaced by two fences.
  • At level 4, the lower part of the vessel turns red and a ladder leading to the muzzle of the vessel.
  • At level 5, the fences are replaced with a stone rim.
  • At level 6, the stone rim get another layer and the ladder is replaced by metal one.
  • At level 7, the top layer of stones is replaced by golden band and the ladder turns gold and the muzzle flattens a bit.
  • At level 8, the ladder is gone, the golden rim is shorter and there are two pipes leading to the vessel. A timer also appears on the bottom of the Roaster, similar to the timers on the Mine and Mega Mine.
