Summary
- The Super Rider is a subtroop spawned by the Super Hog Rider upon its defeat. When the Super Hog Rider is defeated, the Super Rider is bucked off the Super Hog, and launched several tiles backwards from where the pair was.
- The Super Rider, without his hog, can no longer bypass Walls. He instead targets buildings and ground troops indiscriminately.
- The Super Rider is capable of doing 2x damage to Walls, though this is not marked as his favorite target.
- Super Riders have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building. However, if they become aware of enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes, or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), and can fight back against them, they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Super Riders will proceed to attack the nearest structure.
- The Super Rider is considered to take up 5 housing space for the purpose of determining his interactions with the Spring Trap, Tornado Trap, Clone Spell and Recall Spell.
Strategies
- The Super Rider is very useful for cleaning up a base as he can target non-defensive buildings. This reduces the amount of cleanup troops needed after the defenses have been wiped out.
- The Super Rider also deals double damage to walls, which, if there are enough of them, can break walls easily.
- Because of the mechanics of the Super Hog Rider, it is easy for Super Riders to be stranded inside a compartment, requiring them to break the Walls to continue participation in the attack. As mentioned, a large group can break the Wall quickly, but if only one is present, it may take a long time for him to rejoin the attack.
- If he is dropped outside the base, the Super Rider may require the assistance of funneling to re-enter the base, though enabling this to happen may not necessarily be a high priority.
