Summary
- Districts in the Clan Capital sport special types of terrain other than land. None of these types of terrain can have buildings, traps, or decorations placed on them.
- Currently, there are 5 types of terrain in Clan Capital.
- These types of Terrain can be used strategically when base building in the Clan Capital.
Water
- Every District (besides Capital Peak) features Water.
- Water impedes ground troops, but can be bypassed by air troops and do not block the line-of-sight of attackers or defenses.
- Water can be bypassed by Jump Spells (for gaps one or two tiles wide) and Frost Spells (for gaps of any length and open water).
- Troops cannot walk around walls connected to Water.
- A water tile can only be jumped over if it is adjacent to a land tile or a Water tile frozen over by a Frost Spell.
- Any water that is affected by the Frost Spell will be frozen over, allowing ground troops to move over and be deployed over water. This can temporarily expand deployment zones as a result.
- If a ground troop is forcibly deployed on Water (e.g. by means of an aerial defense shooting down units that spawn ground troops like Skeleton Barrels), they will be relocated to the nearest land tile (including frozen water, if applicable). In the case that ground troops are forcibly spawned over water, this relocation only occurs if there is any land within 2 tiles of it; otherwise they will not spawn.
- Defending ground troops can utilise attackers' Frost Spells to reach targets to attack. If they end a battle on top of water because of this, they will respawn at the location of their post regardless of whether or not the post is destroyed, even if the Frost Spell continues into the next attack.
- There are also a total of 4 Barrel Vault Culverts throughout all of Clan Capital, which are similarly impassable to ground troops. They're 1x1 in size and appear in Builder's Workshop (1), Golem Quarry (2), and Capital Playground (2).
Cliffs
- Cliffs completely impede ground troops, but can be bypassed by air troops and do not block the line-of-sight of attackers or defenses.
- There are 8 different types of Cliffs in the Clan Capital, 2 for each size; 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5.
- Troops cannot walk around Walls connected to Cliffs.
- If a ground troop is forcibly deployed on a Cliff (e.g. by means of an aerial defense shooting down units that spawn ground troops like Skeleton Barrels), they will be relocated to the nearest land tile (including frozen water, if applicable).
- Balloon Lagoon has the least amount of Cliffs at 4, while Dragon Cliffs has the most amount of cliffs at 48.
- Cliff type 2x2 A is the most commonly appeared cliff at 27 appearances, while Cliff type 5x5 A is the least commonly appeared cliff at only 9 appearances.

Bridges

- Bridges come in 3 sizes; 1x1, 1x2, and 1x3.
- Bridges are made of wooden planks with stone curbing on both sides.
- Skeleton Park is the only District to contain a double bridge; it contains 2 1x3 bridges placed side-by-side.
- There are a total of 34 Bridges throughout all of Clan Capital, most of which are 1x1 Bridges.
- Barbarian Camp is the only District that doesn't have a bridge, but has water.

- A Quarry is a place, typically a large, deep pit, from which stone or other materials are or have been extracted.

- Vines act as permanent Walls which cannot be broken or destroyed.
- Like walls, Vines may be crossed by a Jump Spell, or bypassed innately by Hog Riders and the Mountain Golem.
