"Destroy Enemy Buildings to find the hidden Treasure!"
Summary[]
- The Treasure Hunt is a temporary event. Originally set to occur on September 11-30, 2024, its start date was postponed to September 19, 2024 and end date moved to October 9, 2024 for the first one.
- The second Treasure Hunt event was active, from March 17-25, 2025
- The third Treasure Hunt event is currently active, from May 17-22 2025
- During the Treasure Hunt, players can win Treasure Chests from Multiplayer Battles. Treasure Chests contain randomized rewards.
- The Treasure Hunt is available to all players with Town Hall 6 and above.
Gameplay[]
- In Multiplayer Battles, a Treasure Chest will be hidden within the opponent's base. Three random buildings will be marked as potential locations for the Treasure Chest to be hidden (with a question-mark symbol over a treasure chest overlaid over the building), only one of which will contain the Treasure Chest.
- When one of these marked buildings is destroyed, the game will reveal whether or not it contains the Treasure Chest.
- If the building does not contain the chest, the question-mark symbol will be replaced by a red cross to denote this before the chest icon vanishes, and play continues as normal.
- When this happens, a buzzer sound will play.
- If the building does contain the chest, the question-mark symbol will be replaced by a green tick. The chest will then be acquired; any remaining treasure chest locations will no longer be marked.
- After the real chest location is found, the chest acquired will be placed to the top right of the overall destruction percentage.
- If the building does not contain the chest, the question-mark symbol will be replaced by a red cross to denote this before the chest icon vanishes, and play continues as normal.
- If the Treasure Chest is successfully obtained, then the "Return Home" button that appears after the battle is replaced by "Claim Reward" with a Chest icon, where the player will be taken to the chest opening interface.
Treasure Chest Cooldown[]
The main interface in the battle menu.
- In the first running of the event, players could win a maximum of three Treasure Chests every two days (48 hours). This is tracked by chest icons in the battle menu; for every Treasure Chest won, one chest icon will be filled in.
- After all three chests have been collected, a check mark appears on the chest of Treasure Hunt interface in the battle menu.
- However in the second treasure hunt event, players can collect up to three chests every 24 hours. Players can stack any chests if they have missed it from previous days.
- The cooldown timer starts as soon as the player has won one chest. Once this cooldown timer expires, all chest icons will be reset, allowing players to win three more Treasure Chests.
- Since the second Treasure Hunt event, the player can stack Chests, as three new chests will appear every day until the end of the event. This means that if the player waited for the last day of the event, they will be able to stockpile up to 24 Chests.
