Picking The CC

Intro

The Clan Castle is a "kritikal" part of your army to success. At low townhalls, you can just request anything reasonable that is also high level and then destroy your opponents. But at Th6, everything changes...

Defenses[]

At Th6, your main power defenses are DOUBLED. One more Wizard tower, one more air defense, one more mortar, along with two spring traps to destroy more troops. Additionally, you also get a giant bomb to not only destroy more archers, but destroy wizards along with heavily damaging giants! Not only that, you get more levels to your defenses.

Additionally, you also get 5 more CC housing space, which is for a total of 20. This is a huge change, because now it is both even and also divisible by 4! May not seem like a lot, but the amount of new combinations is insane!

Offense(s?)[]

The main theme of TH6 is healing. So... what you get is stuff that prevents your troops from dying. It's actually really mind blowing to the very new player. You also get two spells, which is huge along with 15 more housing space. Y'know, the usual.

The purposes of the CC

Your CC serves many purposes. Some purposes may be incompatible with each other, some troops may be able to do both, it really varies.

On Defense[]

  • The Killer. It kills the enemy troops on their own, with not much help. Some troops that do this are: Headhunter, Valkyrie, Inferno dragon, Baby Dragon, Pekka, Wizard , etc.
  • The Staller. These guys buy time for both defenses and trying to force a time fail. Some troops that do this are: Headhunter, Ice Golem, Many Goblins, Many Archers, Witch, Lava hound, etc.

On offense[]

  • The Tank. They tank for troops when they come. Examples: Tanky Troops. Examples of tanky troops? Ice golem, giant, pekka, golem, lava hound, golem, super giant, golem. Yes, I typed giant twice.
  • The Damager. They deal damage, but are pretty weak. Wizards, bowlers, and even archers are some good choices for this.
  • The Soloer. They deal damage and have decent health, but have different weaknesses. Some examples are Hog Riders and Sneaky Goblins.

How to choose a composition

All you need to do is follow ask these questions. Once you have the answer to one question, below is a answer key saying where your next question is. If it says "answer" before the letter, refer to the tables after for one of the many compositions you can choose from.
